Sun Araw & M. Geddes Gengras meet The Congos – the trailer

RVNG INTL’s Frkwys 9 is by far the most ambitious of the series. The New York label’s series sees two stars of the current moment record a record with some elder statesman, and for ‘Icon Give Thank’, underground psyche stars Sun Araw and M Geddes Gengras jammed with one of reggae’s most transcendental groups, The Congos, in Jamaica.

It’s quite the story, and luckily cameras were on hand to record it. Released as a DVD on the 9th April 2012 will be the DVD and LP, and you can watch the trailer above.
