A&R Intern

We are looking for an intern to assist with DMY’s A&R functions and support DMY’s A&R team.

You will be:

• Passionate about music

• Interested in and knowledgeable about all genres of music that DMY supports including rap, electronic, R&B, bedroom pop and more

• Able to provide insightful, written and verbal feedback about music to artists and the DMY team

• You may already be an aspiring journalist, artist, playlist curator, artist manager or have ambitions to run your own label

What you will do:

• Listen to all music submitted to DMY and give written and verbal feedback to the DMY team and to the artists submitting

• Identify artists that are suitable for signing to DMY and including on our playlists and communicate that info to the A&R team

• Assist the A&R team with setting up new releases using tools such as Feature FM, Submithub, Groover, Mailchimp, Chartmetric, Trello, Google Workspace and more

The role is initially freelance and two days (7 hour day) per week, based in the DMY office in Haggerston, London.

Payment is London Living Wage (currently £11.95 per hour).
