Konx-om-Pax brings his album artwork to life

The album trailer has become a key component in online music marketing strategy. And more often than not it’s as sexy/interesting as that sounds (massive sad face); content for content’s sake, if you know what I mean. That said, some artists elevate the form to something closer to art. One such, you might have guessed, is Glasgow’s Konx-om-Pax. His trailer for Lone’s ‘Galaxy Garden’ back in March was a fleeting electric sea dream and now, for his own upcoming ‘Regional Surrealism’ album on Planet Mu, he’s brought the cover art to life in this simple but sweetly absorbing trailer. With so much care clearly taken, it serves as both a glimpse into the album’s heart and a footnote to its vision. Content hawkers, take note.

Planet Mu will release Konx-om-Pax’s ‘Regional Surrealism’ album on 23rd July 2012
