Watch a brilliant doc on kraut-rock veterans Can

With Mute releasing German psychedelic experimentalists Can’s ‘The Lost Tapes’ in a three-CD box-set today, we’ve unearthed this wonderful documentary on YouTube which goes some way to explain the band’s enduring influenced on avant-garde electronica.

German experimental rockers Can formed in Cologne, West Germany in 1968 and are known as one of the first, and most influential, kraut-rock groups to appear on the German electronic music scene, incorporating minimalism and world music elements into their psychedelic sound. This documentary was compiled by Rudi Dolezl and Hannes Rossacher, and produced by DoRo Production, Vienna, Austria.
