Underbelly [installation]

London producer Chairman Kato and artist pal Chris Stoneman create a space in which to step outside the everyday.

In the basement of a teahouse in Spitalfields lies an invitation to take a few minutes out of your day, away from the city, to experience something out of the ordinary. Underbelly is an installation and collaboration by producer Chairman Kato and his friend Chris Stoneman, an artist working in animation. Absorbing, entertaining and inspiring, this DIY audio-visual experience is a breath of much-needed fresh air in the increasingly corporate surroundings of the once-edgy E1. More, please.

Also on a Chairman Kato tip, catch his debut live show supporting Actress on Thursday 26th May at The Fez in New Cross. Flyer here.

Underbelly by Kato and Stoneman is open daily from 11am-6pm at Teasmith, 6 Lamb Street in London (full details here) until Sunday 22nd May 2011
