The xx - Open Eyes [demo]

London band gift fans with first taste of new album and, yes, it's really good.

“I lost faith / I found love,” sings Romy on a brand new demo titled Open Eyes that The xx just posted to their blog along with this simple message: “Open eyes is a demo we did whilst creating our new album, we just wanted to share it with you. xx The xx”. It’s the first taste of new material we’ve heard since their Mercury Prize winning 2009 debut album ‘xx’ and, yeah, it’s making anything else but hitting play again seem pointless.
