The Purist ft. Tree - Never Heard Of That

After link-ups with the likes of Danny Brown, Sean Price and Havoc of Mobb Deep on his 'TR-ill' LP earlier this year, London hip hop producer The Purist has unveiled a new track with Tree – an addition to the recent deluxe edition of the release. Whilst Never Heard of That eschews the distinct Soul Trap style of Tree own's productions for a lush and spacey style, the Chicago rapper's voice and storytelling is as virtuosic as his beats and the song is an effortless nostalgic cruise.
