The Phantom - Pisces (Miss Modular remix)

Outsider grime from the Polish producer, remixed by Her Records producer Miss Modular.

The Phantom released his debut album 'LP1', a record which saw him mix up grime, club music, rap instrumentals, and minimalism, via Belgium's Silverback Recordings last year.

His new album – fittingly titled 'LP2' and given away as a free download via Silverback – sees The Phantom remake grime as seen through his own eyes. The Phantom is the brainchild of Polish producer Bartosz Kruczynski, and it's through this outsider's perspective – coming to the genre later, with Poland being a far cry from Bow – that he adds flourishes harking back to '80s electronic acts like The Art of Noise or Ryuichi Sakamoto.

The album is available as a free download, but today Silverback have shared a remix of Pisces made by London producer and Her Records producer/co-founder Miss Modular, who takes the track into outer orbit.
