Tempa T - Say It Right Now (Darq E Freaker Ultramix)

Tempa T – man, myth, legendary flat top – has had a track called Say It Right Now out for a little while now and it’s alright. It’s the kind of thing an MC with his cultural capital in the grime scene can get away with, but its energy is unfortunately misplaced – with his vocal submerged by S.K.I.T.Z Beatz’ trance production.

Darq E Freaker got his hands on the track, though, and now it’s a straight winner. He also produced Next Hype, so it’s all ecstatic tension and release, has a crashing organ and a swagger perfect for the Tempa T skank. Just listen.
