SpaceGhostPurrp has had a bit of an eventful year, from the release of his debut album in June to getting arrested for squabbling with the A$AP Mob in a car park in November. Putting all that behind him, the Miami rapper has decided to wrap up 2012 with a new release, which you can stream and download in full below.

Before you listen, Purrp recommends that you “1. Get yo weed 2. Get yo drank 3. Get yo pillz 4. Get yo coke 5. Get yo bitch 6. Get Phucked up 7. Then blast this shit” [sic]. If you can still hear anything after going through that checklist, you’ll find that ‘B.M.W.’ (that stands for ‘Black Man’s Wealth’, FYI) is at the murkier end of the rapper’s spectrum, with a slew of incongruous samples and sinister lyrical turns making it an aggressive listen. Hailing back to the Houston-smeared, leering and soggy sound of his earlier work, but with its fair share of hooks blazing through, it’s one worth a few listens to chew over.

4AD released SpaceGhostPurrp’s debut album ‘Mysterious Phonk’ on the 11th June 2012.
