Samoyed, Tapes & Lukid - Untitled

Like two magnets repelling, this untitled track that London’s Lukid posted on Twitter (Thriller/Werkdiscs) a couple of days ago is heavy with a tension that manifests in static hiss and a grinding metallic hum. Or in Lukid’s words, “strange music”. It also conjures up a mental image of the three producers – Samayed, Tapes and Lukid – in long white coats, splitting elements into the early hours. Or that just might be me.
