Rabit and Strict Face split a release on Different Circles

First track Tearz could sit just as pretty on a John Carpenter style film score.

Alongside throwing some of London's freshest parties, Different Circles put the work in to be one of the best labels too, today announcing their third EP is a split-release featuring Rabit and Strict Face.

Rabit's Tearz is something different. A fast flowing track that gives the anxious feeling that time is running out, it could sit just as pretty on a John Carpenter style film score as it would drawing the club to the close, easing the reality of the lights turning on. Then there's that mixtape-esque, spooky voiceover. Label co-owner Logos describes Tearz as, "one of my favourite ever Rabit productions; think early Philip Glass meets a datpiff mixtape voiceover and you're there – kind of. Defines 'weightless' for us.""

'DIFF003' tracklist:

A1: Rabit Tearz
AA1: Strict Face Into Stone
AA2: Strict Face Into Stone (Widows Version)

'DIFF003' is out September 18th (pre-order).

Different Circles' weekly Summer Series at The Victoria, Dalston wraps up on August 16th with an all star line-up featuring The Square, Riko Dan with Ziro, Airhead, Oil Gang, and Jammz alongside Tom Lea (tickets).
