Philadelphia production-duo-turned-live-band Pink Skull are gearing up to release ‘Psychic Welfare’, their third studio album via New York’s exceptional RVNG Intl. record label in September. It’s a stompingly good record, like boogie in hobnail boots. In the meantime, have a listen to London producer Brassica’s remix of album track Bee Nose. It’s got reggae bounce, post-punk swagger and tropical house vibes, and then he goes and gets all sounds of the universe on us too with a whole heap of samples from space invaders to car horns. It shouldn’t work but it does. Fans of Bullion will definitely enjoy.
