Mike Hadreas, one of our generation’s singular voices, has a gift for turning pain into poetry. On Dark Parts, taken from ‘Put Your Back N 2 It’, his second album as Perfume Genius, he sings a song of protection and salvation that anyone who’s ever wanted to make it all better will recognise.
