Perfume Genius announces second album

After crooning his way to the top with 'Learning', February will see the release of Mike Hadreas's second album.

Perfume Genius (20-something Seattle singer Mike Hadreas) wowed the world (or at least our part of it) with jams as Mr Peterson, performed live below.

His new album is rather daftly named ‘Put Your Back N 2 It’, and it will be released on 20th February 2012 on Organs / Turnstile. According to the press release, the sound is “is lush and universal, and sees an expansion of both his thematic and sonic palette, playing as a broad meditation on intimacy, power, family, secrecy and hope”. Hooray!
