Othello Woolf wears his heart on his sleeve, puts his all into his brooding soul songs. We’ve been tuned into his mood at Dummy since his debut single Stand a couple of years back. Keep On is his latest, and the first taste of a new album due early next year. Taut between those sharp-as-a-tack finger clicks and a bright-eyed piano loop, it builds to a swoon with but the sparsest of elements. Woolf sounds more assured than ever, which suggests good things for 2013.
