Only Real - Get It On

The laid-back singer debuts the first single from his upcoming EP.

Laid-back Londoner Only Real is all set to release his first official EP 'Days In The City', and today you can hear its lead single Get It On. The title harks back to cheesy 90s pop in the same way that the grimy guitars, angsty yelps of the chorus and the at-arm's-length vocals evoke the height of the grungey era, while a playful edge and lazy half-raps keep it fresh and frothy. Describing himself as "clowning around" while he watches the one he wants get on with life ("you're settled I see… you'd be better with me"), the nonchalant youth that characterises Niall Galvin's music comes with a slightly more bitter taste than usual.

Luv Luv Luv Records will release the 'Days In The City' EP on the 7th October 2013.
