London-based internet radio station NTS Live will be travelling to New York this month to host ten pop-up shows starring some of the city’s biggest talent.
With temporary studios appearing around the city, in locations such as halcyon the shop, a Brooklyn record shop, being stuffed with acts including Holy Other, Howse and Fatima Al Qadiri, the ten broadcasts will be a celebration of all that New York (and, for one night only, DC) has to offer. Looking both forward and backwards, the shows are set to feature some of the brightest stars of New York’s musical past, as well as its most progressive new artists.
Each show will be curated by a different collaborator, and so far NTS have confirmed that these collaborators will include RVNG INTL, Tri Angle records, PPU, Future Times, Halcyon, L.I.E.S, Percussion Lab and Deep Space. More names have yet to be announced.
Check the flyer, pictured on the right and here, to find out who’s curating each night, and to listen, tune in to NTSLive.co.uk between 10pm – 2am (GMT) or 5pm – 9pm (EDT) between the 19th and the 28th September.
