NONCLASSICAL goes modernist with Roundhouse collaboration

The London Contemporary Orchestra performs early modernists Stockhausen and Xenakis, among others, for the rising 'classical club-nights'.

As part of a rising tide of the classical/electronic fusion culture, another NONCLASSICAL event is taking place at London’s Roundhouse March 3rd. Performing on the night will be the London Contemporary Orchestra and presenting iconic 20th-century compositions like Stockhausen’s “Studie | (Elektronische Musik)” and Xenakis’ “Metastasis”, alongside work by Radiohead’s Johnny Greenwood and event organiser Gabriel Prokofiev himself. And because no club-night is complete without a DJ set or two, Prokofiev and Richard Lannoy will also be taking to the decks.
