The Detroit-based techno/house musician Kenny Dixon Jr. or Moodyman, as he is known to his masses, will release a new EP ‘Picture This’ through Scionav.com. An at-times-eccentric vinyl devotee who has been spinning records for over twenty years and has released eight albums and countless 12“s on labels such as Detroit’s own Planet E, Peacefrog Records KDJ and Mahogani Music, Moodyman offers a glimpse to his new album by treating us to Hold It Down, a very smooth and subtle piece of music, fused with a long history of groove, ranging from jazz to funk, via soul and deep house.
