Major Grave - 'Looking Forward' [EP stream]

Slackk knows a thing or two about grime – besides once operating the now-defunct GrimeTapes blog, he's resident at new grime night Boxed, while his Rinse FM radio show frequently gives airing to the latest dubs from the much written about new wave of grime.

Bearing all of this in mind, it's no surprise to learn that he has started a new record label to release grime tracks. The first release comes from Irish producer Major Grave (well, the first official release, anyway – Slackk's footwork R&B albums as Patrice & Friends were put out via Sulk's Bandcamp, although given the probably-not-cleared nature of the samples on those albums, it's best not to consider those part of the label's canon). You can stream Major Grave's entire 'Looking Forward' EP on Soundcloud now – given the emphasis on new grime, you could interpret the title as symbolic.
