Little Boots - Every Night I Say A Prayer

For Record Store Day, UK singer-songwriter Victoria Christina Hesketh, aka Little Boots, offered a taste of her upcoming new LP, teaming up with famous Chicago house label Trax to release the 12’‘ Every Night I Say A Prayer.

The song is produced by Hercules & Love Affair’s Andy Butler and came backed by a host of remixes (which you can stream here). Of these, the version by Tensnake works best.

Little Boots also dropped a brand new video for the track which features explicit messages in capitals on the screen such as “I WANT YOU” and “TAKE ME THERE”, in addition to a tiny, extremely blonde Victoria repeating on loop “I have seen into the future” . The future she has seen into appears, in fact, to incorporate a black and white retro dance aesthetic, white ankle socks, and a collective of barefoot male dancers wearing sunglasses.
