This weekend, after a lot of talk and a few delays, Lil Wayne's 'Dedication 5' was released online. The DJ Drama-hosted series – particularly the first two editions from 2005 and 2006 – is closely linked with the New Orleans artist's self-proclaimed "greatest rapper alive" era and, whilst he isn't the pioneer he once was, Wayne is still a prolific rapper and an undoubtable star capable of making one of the better rap albums of the year in 'I Am Not a Human Being II'.

The mixtape features typically elastic freestyles over some of the hottest beats of the past 18 months, including Started From the Bottom, UOENO, Ain't Worried Bout Nothing and Don't Kill My Vibe, guest spots from Young Money's increasing sprawling roster and new songs like Way I'm Ballin with Future and the syrupy ballad You Song with Chance the Rapper.
