Joker – The Vision [album stream]

Joker’s work since signing to 4AD has been divisive to say least, with many fans seeing such unashamedly top-five aiming tunes as The Slaughterhouse as an unwelcome shift away from the almost hallucinatory largeness of early tunes like Purple City, Digidesign or Tron, which makes an appearance here. But this absolute expanse and ultra-neon lines that stretched beyond dubstep into grime, R&B and G funk that so appealed at first is here in force, albeit in contained form.
