Jay-Z feat. Justin Timberlake - Holy Grail

The rapper reveals a new track from his already-platinum, technically unreleased album.

The first track to emerge (legitimately) online from Jay-Z’s Samsung-sponsored new album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ is the Justin Timberlake -featuring, Nirvana-borrowing Holy Grail. The album, ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’, became officially available to Samsung Galaxy users with the tailor-made mobile app in the early hours of this morning, and all of its contents have since surfaced online, though Jay has only posted one song to Soundcloud himself. Elsewhere on the album, the rapper has collaborated with Frank Ocean, Pharrell, BeyoncĂ©, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Nas and Travi$ Scott.

Weighing in at a fairly hefty five minutes and 38 seconds, Holy Grail is an ambitious ballad with a sprawling structure, with Kurt Cobain’s famous lines cutting jarringly through Justin’s yearning.
