In the first of a new series of RizLab events, Jamie xx is set to work together with visual artist Quayola in a multimedia four-hour show on 11th August.

The performance, entitled “Structures”, will feature brand new material from Jamie xx’s upcoming EP, and a simultaneous display from Quayola making use of two 17 metre wide screens in full HD. The event will take place in an unannounced venue in London.

Jamie has said, “Having played at so many parties this year, it’s exciting to be able to use Quayola’s work to immerse the crowd deeper into the whole experience.”

RizLab is a project set up by the cigarette papers company Rizla. The next RizLab event will be curated by Friendly Fires at Bestival on the 9th September, featuring special guest appearances yet to be announced.
