Night Slugs have kindly posted clips from their next release, which sees the long-awaited – in circles that long-await such things – return of Jam City. His ‘Magic Drops’ EP from last year, and Ecstasy (Refix) from Night Slug’s white label series were some of 2010’s adrenalized synth highlights, and his next release is, from what we can tell here, sounding equally special.

Kicking off with the jet fuel, muscular sounds of Aqua Box, moving in to Countess’ stumbling strut, Island comes smoothly gliding it’s way in, and then we have the skewed minimalism of Barely A Trak finishing with Waterfalls sparkling, rolling bounce. Even with only a minute and a half of each track on show, it sounds hectic, tightly coiled and bursting with ideas, energy, and life in general.
