Jacques Greene to throw label showcase at XOYO

Montreal producer will preview Vase's art and fashion collaborations at a special London show.

Our favourite Montreal house/R&B producer Jacques Greene is having a good year. Having recently opened for The xx in North America, he was also behind the “Bloc cancellation consolation” party at Peckham Palais which saw Actress, Martyn and Jacques play to a packed, sweaty crowd until the wee hours (we can vouch for the sweat). And if you cast your mind back to January (it was cold then, remember?), he announced his label Vase with, intriguingly, future releases to include fashion pieces. There’ll be the chance to glimpse that future at a newly announced Vase showcase at XOYO on 5th October (event details) which will feature collaborations with art/fashion designers Trusst and film-makers No Problem, plus of course Jacques and a few “special guests”. Apparently the first 200 tickets will each receive a limited edition Vase release. Did someone say collectable?
