Ikonika - Beach Mode (Keep It Simple) feat. Jessy Lanza

Hyperdub producer Ikonika is releasing a new album with the tongue-twisting name ‘Aerotropolis’ at the tail-end of July, and has shared a teaser in the form of Beach Mode (Keep It Simple). The track features vocalist Jessy Lanza and mixes the clapped out rhythms and raw basslines of Chicago house with the melodies and synths that came to define her earlier style. It’s tagged as “dancepop” on Soundcloud, which isn’t actually far off the mark.

Hyperdub will release ‘Aerotropolis’ on July 29th.
