Danish punks Iceage are releasing an album and coming to the UK

The Copenhagen band are bringing their notoriously physical lives sets, along with their debut album, to the UK in September.

Formed at the age of just 12, Danish teenagers Iceage have been shockingly and powerfully instrumental in the formation of Copenhagen’s heavy music scene throughout their formative years, signing to excellent Danish label Esscho to release their debut album ‘New Brigade’. Now aged between 18 and 19, they plan to appear live in the UK this September, with great new music blog Abeano are finally bringing out their debut in the UK.

The band, consisting of Elias Bender Ronnenfelt and Jakob Tvilling Pless, Johan Surrballe Wieth and Dan Kjaer Nielsen, are well renowned for the aggressive, often destructive nature of their live shows. If that’s something you’re up for, catch them at any of the dates below.

UK live dates:

September 1st Old Blue Last London
September 2nd Islington Mill Salford, Manchester
September 3rd Nation of Shopkeepers Leeds
September 4th The Captain’s Rest Glasgow
September 5th Wolstenhome Creative Space Liverpool

Abeano will release ‘New Brigade’ on the 5th September.
