Human Traffic 2 has been confirmed: a "reaction to Brexit"
Rave cult classic film Human Traffic is getting a sequel, writer and director Justin Kerrigan confirmed over the weekend.
Making the announcement at a 20th anniversary celebration for the 1999 flick, he said: “It’s about one race, the human race, and a reaction to Brexit.”
He also confirmed that Danny Dyer would reprise his starring role as Moff for the long-awaited follow-up.
In an interview with Mixmag, Kerrigan confirmed that fellow original cast members Shaun Parkes, Nicola Reynolds and more would be joining him.
“It’s a comedy about the rave generation set over a weekend in Cardiff, London and Ibiza,” he said. “Human Traffic 2 is as relevant to today as [the original] was relevant for its time.”
There’s no release date just yet, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on the film’s developments.
