Holy Other – Feel Something (The Haxan Cloak remix)

Surprisingly sweet and skippy reworking of one of the finest releases of the year.

Holy Other, who released one of the best EPs of this year, has been remixed by newly announced Tri Angle labelmate The Haxan Cloak. Despite recording some of the darkest, most despair-ridden music out there, The Haxan Cloak showcases a lighter touch on this rework of Feel Something. It flutters and chimes, languidly revealing a 2-step melody that builds to a bubbly finish and fade.

It can be heard below, along with an Andy Stott remix of Know Where. Both area included on ‘Tri Angle Records 2011 & Beyond’, a digital compilation for Bleep (who, incidentally, just voted Tri Angle their label of the year) that also includes tracks by How To Dress Well, Ayshay, Clams Casino and more.
