Grizzly Bear - Listen and Wait

Hear a tempestuous off-cut from the Brooklyn band's 2012 album 'Shields'.

Brooklyn-based experimental folk-rock quartet Grizzly Bear are on the brink of releasing two companions to their 2012 album 'Shields' – one of which, 'Shields: Expanded', is the original album plus eight extra b-sides, remixes and demos, while the other ('Shields: B Sides') is purely a collection of the previously unheard tracks. One of those unheard gems, Listen And Wait, was posted online yesterday for your listening (and not waiting) pleasure. Gliding from rough-hewn, rickety verses that tiptoe along tentative blurts of brass and straight into cacophonous choruses, it's the band at their most tempestuous. Stream it in the player above.
