Amongst stories of her relocation to Los Angeles, a top secret move into professional acting, living on a diet of vegan burritos and recounting how she once shaved her head before ballet class; Grimes has revealed details of her new album to Fader in her cover story.

The album, anticipated for release in October, is set to be strongly influenced by Grimes' staunch views of sexism and inequality in the music industry including a "diss track about male producers" and a song about defying objectification featuring a selection of female MCs.

The interview suggests Grimes will be taking on a few different personas herself, including Screechy Bat ("the metal one") and a "super vampish and sexy" character akin to Ginger Spice.

If you're an avid Grimes fan, its definitely worth taking a break for the read.
