Gonjasufi - Houndogs

Two minutes of distorted, grumbling blues, created from music passed to Gonjasufi via Flying Lotus and David Lynch.

Experimental LA artist Gonjasufi dropped this contemplative new track, ‘Houndogs’, via his Facebook yesterday. A mash of gritty blues and distant, distorted sounds, it’s an arresting listen.

The track’s origins are almost as starling as its sinister sound; in Gonjasufi’s own words, “FLYLO SENT ME THIS DAVID LYNCH TRACK SO I WENT IT [sic]”. Slotting nicely alongside the mystic’s last album, MU.ZZ.LE , which was released in January this year, this mumbling, wailing tune is hopefully the sound of more psychedelic sounds to come.
