Golden Teacher - Like A Hawk

Deranged Glasgow dance punk group Golden Teacher – composed of members from Silk Cut and Ultimate Thrush – are readying a new EP for Optimo Music. Their debut EP was one of the best this year, tying together everything from Liaisons Dangereuses to Arthur Russell to Imagination with a knot so slack that it came loose the second the music started. The first track to appear from it, Like A Hawk, brings an Afro-percussive influence to their sound and is every bit as unhinged and tres demented as their previous efforts.

Optimo Music will release ‘Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night’ on July 15.
