Ford & Lopatin reveal debut album details

The Brooklyn electronic duo (formerly known as Games) will drop their new release this June.

Joel Ford (one third of Tigercity) and Daniel Lopatin (one whole of Oneohtrix Point Never) are Ford & Lopatin. They’re set to debut their LP ‘Channel Pressure’ via Software Recordings, a Mexicam Summer imprint, on 7th June.

According to a press release, Prefuse 73 mixed the album; its concept is based loosely on “a teenage anti-hero [Joel Rogers], violent robo-jocks, and a record industry run by a super computer.” ‘Emergency Room’ features remixes from Gavin Russom and The Bug; a limited edition X-ray picture disc the single is due on 26th April.
