fLako - Honey Drips

Stream a lush new number from the London-based soul documentarian.

As is the case with a lot of the best music nowadays, fLako’s Honey Drips defies any sort of genre categorisation. You might think that this is down to a geographical displacement, with fLako having roots in countries as far-flung as Chile, Germany and England, but then again you might also think that we’re reading too much into it, and that post-genre is just a very modern way of working nowadays. Regardless, Honey Drips is a lush number, hyperactive in its elements but understated in its execution, based around springy analogue synths and textural vocal snippets.

fLako’s ‘Eclosure’ EP will be out November 5th via Five Easy Pieces.
