Elliott Power - Saw [Did]

Here’s the flip to Elliott Power’s SINK/SWIM, which will make up his debut release on Marathon Artists. SAW [DID] has faithful echoes of the snarling delivery of Tricky – and despite Tricky’s displeasure can pretty confidently be filed within that certain genre the ex-Massive Attack man will always be associated with. The colourful production on SAW [DID] prevents it from coming off as retro fodder: with rattling agogos and pondering bass thickening things up behind Power.

Marathon Artists will release ‘Sink/Swim/Saw [Did]’ on the 24th June.
