DJ EZ unveils Elvin Zedo, his house and techno alias since 2004

"Now the time has come where I want to reconnect to the music of my roots"

Legendary UK garage spinner DJ EZ has unveiled a new moniker to play house and techno under – Elvin Zedo.

Born Otis Roberts, the DJ’s other guise was previously kept a secret since 2004 as an avenue to play the first genres he played at the start of his career – house and techno.

“House and techno has always had a special place in my heart,” he said. “Elvin Zedo allowed me to continue to play these sounds without interfering with my role in the UK Garage scene… Now my aim is to DJ under both names.”

To launch the Elvin Zedo name, he’ll be playing a 10-hour Boiler Room set on February 24th.
