Death Grips to release two albums in 2012

Sacramento hip-hoppers, “Death Grips”, have sent their fanbase into a spin by announcing on their Twitter that they’ll release not one but two albums this year. The first album is due out in April, and will include new track Blackjack.

The Death Grips is heavy and aggressive and they’re uncompromisingly radical, releasing their first album, Exmilitary, for free online. Their drummer, Zach Hill, has worked with Hella and an assortment of other West Coast bands. Their combination of militant punk and rap is as serious as it comes and they’re taking no prisoners.
