d'Eon - Music for Keyboards Vol. III

Stream and download the patriotic new instalment in the Canadian composer's classical keyboard series.

Written and played by d’Eon on a MIDI keyboard and MIDI tracker, and performed by Edirol Orchestral, the latest in the Canadian artist’s ‘Music For Keyboards’ mixtape series is an elegant and triumphant surge of electro-classical celebration.

Citing influences such as composers Aaron Copland and Jean Sibelius, the mixtape sprawls and meanders in the form of two 20 minute movements, with each minute sounding each as formidably and frantically insistent as the last. Full of delicate melodies and minimalistic, building repetition, the symphony is apparently imbued with the influence of patriotism and nationalism, and it definitely has that inspiring, swelling-with-pride feeling.
