Cloud Boat - Wanderlust

As heard on The Fader last night, Cloud Boat have returned with a new single named Wanderlust, due for release on R&S sublabel Apollo shortly. What starts as a melancholic acoustic song in the vein of a band like Grizzly Bear soon morphs into tortured soul electronica, complete with the sort of vocal manipulation that R&S mainstay James Blake built his name on. Granted, if you’re just waiting for the weekend then perhaps this isn’t the best Friday listening, but if it’s snowy solemnities you’re after then look no further.

Apollo will release Wanderlust on March 4th.
