Stream Clarence Clarity's debut album 'NO NOW'
Clarence Clarity is streaming his debut album, 'NO NOW'.
Out on Bella Union next week, 'NO NOW' is an insight into the brain of Clarence Clarity: fractured and disjointed, full of violent but darkly hilarious imagery, and absolutely bursting with ideas. Musically, 'NO NOW' steamrolls basically every style you've ever heard – is that a rap beat? Funk? Adult contemporary? Glitchcore? Industrial rock? Gospel? – into three-minute bursts of hyperactive energy.
Honestly though, this really is all over the shop – it's 20 tracks long, and many of its songs are broken down into so many different fragments and ideas that it feels even more labyrinthine – but you also don't make this sort of stuff without your brain being on some kind of higher vibrational plane.
Clarence Clarity was recently announced for London's Field Day festival on Saturday June 6th – tickets can be picked up here.
