Blur to play London 2012 Closing Ceremony

Following on from the performance of the first new material by the band in a couple of years, the newly reunited Blur have been announced as the headlining performers at the Olympic Closing Ceremony Celebration show this summer. Situated in the heart of the city, the show will also feature New Order and The Specials as special guests in a ‘Best of British’ event.

The show will take place on August 12 in Hyde Park with giant screens also showing the performance live at the Olympic Park and ticket information is available at the BT London Live official site.
