Beck - Defriended

Beck plans two new albums, and releases a song that won't be on either of them.

Grandiose Bowie coverer and general oddball Beck is planning two new albums, according to Rolling Stone. The first is an acoustic effort, the second a follow up to his 2008 album ‘Modern Guilt’. New track Defriended appeared on his official website earlier today, but apparently won’t be on either album. Defriended is a downbeat electro-acoustic jam that’s heavy on the FX, and probably isn’t just about the sadness and isolation that he feels when somebody deletes him on Facebook, although we’d like to think that it is.
