Scotch whisky brand Ballantine’s is teaming up with Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) this October for an event focused on club culture.

They’ll be throwing open the doors to the Ballantine’s House on Wednesday 16th October, a space that’ll host panels, talks and live music, all celebrating the importance of the nightclub.

A panel titled ‘How Dancefloors Create Communities’ will find Mike Grieve, Managing Director of Glasgow’s Sub Club in conversation alongside Ali Saleh, Co-Founder of The Gärten in Beirut, plus Ferran Camarasa, General Manager at Barcelona’s Nitsa, and Nicolas Matar, founder of the now-closed Output, a house and techno hotspot in Brooklyn.

In addition, Amsterdam clubbing icon Kim Tuin of local art space Het HEM will take part in a Q&A hosted by artist and PIP Den Haag owner, Steven van Lummel.

In true ADE style, the Ballantine’s House will close out with a party, headlined by Sub Club residents Harri and Domenic – the individuals behind Subculture, the infamous weekly house music residency, as well as a special, to-be-announced act.

RSVP here for free entry to ADE pass holders.
