Aldous RH - Lov Coms Btwyn

Manchester solo musician and Todd Rundgren fanatic shares a new EP of proggy synths and sleazy funk.

Manchester-based solo musician, Todd Rundgren fanatic, and erstwhile Egyptian Hip Hop frontperson Aldous RH has a new EP out called 'The Sky Dyvydes'.

It's made of three songs – two rescued from the bottom of Aldous's crypt (called The Sky Dyvydes, presented as two related versions in true prog fashion) and new song Lov Coms Btwyn. Lov Coms Btwyn is more of a lo-fi, sleazy funk song than the synthesizer wanderings of The Sky Dyvydes.

The EP is available for free via TAR, whose other releases so far have included everything from freakbeats by Gobby to footwork from Teklife's DJ Earl and DJ Manny. A new EP from Aldous, 'Seductive Atmospheres', is due in early 2015.
