A new Sade song, ‘The Big Unknown’, has just dropped


Over the weekend, Sade Adu and her band shared ‘The Big Unknown’, a new slow-burning cut written for the forthcoming Steve McQueen-directed film Widows.

The new track follows the outfit’s ‘Flower Of The Universe’ written for Ava DuVernay’s A Wrinkle in Time earlier this year – the first Sade song to emerge since 2011.

On the track, Adu sings: “I’m just trying to hold on / I’m falling in the dark below / I feel I’m falling in the big unknown / There’s no fire and flame on this cold, cold plane / No way to measure my pain.”

Widows and its soundtrack will be released on November 16th 2018.
