"Back then they didn't care if stuff was rough around the edges or totally fucking nuts..."

R U Init are back with new music for the second time this year, sharing another throwback rave anthem just in time for summer.

While this is now their fourth single, following the release of ‘Sunshine’ back in April, not much is known about the elusive collective apart from them being a group producers, mixers, designers and all round creatives whose paths span every corner of the electronic music scene.

Entitled ‘Aceeed’, R U Init’s latest offering is perfectly imperfect, reminiscent of a time where people didn’t care as much about creating the most technical dance productions possible and instead focused their energy on the party itself.

Speaking about their latest offering, the collective commented: “Back then they didn’t care if stuff was rough around the edges or totally fucking nuts. People were so into the scene that they just loved it all… The kid in the middle of the rave, with a face that looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp.  This track is for him!!”

A high-octane medley of warping synths and drum claps, ‘Aceeed’ sounds like it was ripped straight out of the 90s and further goes to show what this enigmatic group of rave enthusiasts are all about.
